| I recently received my oil painting back from the framer, and saw the picture for the first time in its frame and without its protective plastic wrapper. The picture, loosely based on Callot's Sleep, is absolutely beautiful. Putting this picture together from the poor quality black and white and manipulated color images I provided must have taken considerable skill. Both my wife and I love the picture, and the person responsible for the framing remarked how much she liked the work also.
When I ordered the painting, I left detailed requirements about what I felt I wanted it to capture, and the artist appears to have understood my ideas well and translated them and his or her own perspective into a sensitive and beautiful work. I am very pleased with the result. Please relay to the artist that he or she has done lovely work -- I am very grateful. It as though the artist read my mind and understood completely what I was trying to request.
